Questions

How do I pick a random name?

Type the names, one on each line. Choose Spin. The wheel stops on one name.

Does the winner leave the wheel?

Yes. This page removes the winner after each spin. Each name wins one time. Turn off the option to keep all the names.

How many names can I use?

You can use up to 200 names. Each name can have up to 60 characters.

Is the wheel fair?

Yes. The page picks the winner first, with the random number generator of your browser. Then the wheel turns to stop on that winner. Every entry has the same chance.

Does the page send my list to a server?

No. The wheel works in your browser. Your list stays on your device. It goes in the end of the link, after the # sign. A browser never sends that part to a server. Other people get it only when you share the link. Read more about privacy.
